  Exactly, James, exactly. That's why I'm interested in this question. Would they act against someone who don't confess about committing fornication but not to someone who don't confess about abusing a child?
  
  I think it would be very interesting if somebody knows cases where somebody is accused of committing fornication, or apostasy, or any other "serious sin", in which there are not two witnesses, and the accused is called anyways into a judicial committee.

  this is my first thread here.i was wondering if anybody here could help me with a question that i have.my question is this: is it always applied the rule of the "two witnesses" in cases of apostasy?

  i'll put an example:if a jw is working with another jw and one of them is continuously talking about teachings contrary to the bible truth as taught by jehovah's witnesses, would the testimony of the other jw be enough to form a judicial committee?thanks!

  If they are going to put pressure —as I understand your comment, Data-Dog— to alleged apostates, they could do the same to alleged pedophiles, don't they?

  Exactly, Giordano. I asked my question keeping in mind the cases of child abuse. I was wondering if JWs leadership would use their double standards also here.
